Heavy water use is pushing the Water Treatment Plant (WTP) process to capacity. The District asks everyone, especially the farming community, to conserve water as much as possible. Heavy demand on the WTP can mean a much higher probability of failure which can impact the ability to provide quality water to our residents. If high demand continues or increases, the District may need to proceed with further water use restrictions.
