On Tuesday, April 15, the District of Summerland proudly held a Push-in Ceremony to officially welcome Engine 232, the newest addition to our firefighting fleet!

This meaningful tradition, dating back to the 19th century, symbolizes the arrival of a new fire truck—where firefighters and community members push the engine into the firehall, just as they did in the horse-drawn era.

Features a 450hp engine, 1,750 GPM pump, 4WD, and rugged, reliable controls

With this essential upgrade, our Fire Department is better equipped to protect and serve the Summerland community for decades to come.
