Televisions, small appliances, E-Waste, light bulbs and batteries can be returned for recycling, free of charge, to the Summerland Landfill Recycling Depot.

Acceptable Materials:

• Batteries including lithium, alkaline, rechargeable, car batteries, nickel metal hydride (NiMH), etc.

• Light bulbs including halogen, incandescent, compact fluorescent bulbs, fluorescent light bulbs, and other household light bulb types.

• Small Appliances including televisions, microwaves, toasters, coffee makers, blenders, vacuums, kitchen mixers, toaster ovens, 

• E-Waste including computers, laptops, phones, computer accessories, printers, cameras, etc.
