The District of Summerland does not anticipate any significant flood events, although creeks and waterways throughout Summerland continue to slowly rise.
For residents concerned with rising creek and lake levels, there is sand available at the southeast corner of Horse Beach (16997 Lakeshore Drive) and by the boat launch on Wharf Street. Sandbags are available at the Fire Hall, 10115 Jubilee Road West.
